GENEVA MOTOR SHOW: Our guide to 2020's online reveals

Despite being cancelled due to the coronavirus, the show must go on! Here's where you see them streamed live

The world's most stylish automotive shindig, the 2020 Geneva motor show, has been kyboshed due to the coronavirus, leaving car brands scrambling to make alternate plans.

Most major car-makers regularly spend millions of dollars on their motor show presence in Geneva, all of which was squandered after organisers of the show said there'd be no corporate refunds, blaming the Swiss government edict that bans any gatherings of more than 1000 people.

So what happens now? Car-makers are holding bespoke reveals at various locations around the world, almost all of which will be live-streamed.

You can catch all of the streams from around 6:15pm (8:15am Geneva time) in Australia tonight, Tuesday March 3, right here:

Some brands will also have their own live-streaming portals, and the launches will roll out chronologically as per the original show schedule.

Here's what to keep an eye out for.

BMW i4

BMW 6:15pm

The BMW i4 electric vehicle will take centre stage -- sorry, page -- for the Bavarian brand. The new model to takes aim at the Tesla Model 3 and will have pace (390kW) and longevity (80kWh battery), with a WLTP rated range of 600km.

Mercedes-AMG 6:30pm

'Benz tuner Mercedes-AMG is tipped to show the most potent E-Class to date, the E 63 S. There could a surprise or two from the brand as well.

The facelifted Mercedes E-Class will be revealed, expected to double-down on its semi-automated driving systems. Electrification is also likely to play a big part in the world premiere. The brand will also show CLA and GLA plug-in hybrid models.

Skoda 6:50pm

Czech brand Skoda will take the wraps off its new Octavia RS halo car, which will be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbo four-banger as the upcoming Golf GTI or a 1.4-litre petrol-electric hybrid setup. We might also see the new Skoda Enyaq EV.

Volkswagen 7:10pm

The Volkswagen Golf GTI will be one of the most hotly anticipated reveals at the show, and VW will also show the Touareg R. Expect lots of ID models to be on display too and possibly a surprise concept car for good measure.

BAC 7:15pm

The Briggs Automotive Company, or BAC, will take the wraps off the Mono One and Mono 2, light-weight single-seater sports cars powered by a 2.5-litre Ford engine. Weighing under 600kg, they'll be fast.

McLaren 7:30pm

Streamed live from the UK at its Woking HQ, the latest McLaren supercar will make its debut and is almost certainly going to be based on a new platform and incorporate a plug-in hybrid powertrain as teased late last year.

Bentley 7:30pm

British prestige brand Bentley will show off its new Bacalar sports car. With lots of input from Bentley's custom shop Mulliner, the new model could be styled like the sexy EXP 100 GT concept from last year. With a W12 engine it could bang out almost 500kW of power.

Audi 7:50pm

The German luxury car-maker will show off its new A3 Sportback, a crucial small car that sells in big numbers for the brand and will take the fight to the BMW 1 Series and Mercedes A-Class. The Audi e-tron S electric vehicle will also be revealed.

Porsche 8:10pm

Aussie F1 ace Mark Webber will be on hand to help launch the latest Porsche 911 Turbo. Expect lots of power and lots of dynamic trickery.

Alpine 9:30pm

It's all about the A110 – the brand's only model – with two special edition vehicles making their public debut along with the Alpine A110 SportsX concept.

Hyundai 9:45pm

The new i20 and facelifted Hyundai i30 will take a bow, alongside a kooky new EV – the Prophecy concept – that could channel a bit of the original Audi TT in its design.

Lexus 11:00pm

The Lexus LF-30 concept will make its second appearance after its Tokyo motor show debut in late 2019 but it's unclear if the brand will show anything else. Hopefully the rumoured LC-F with the brand-new twin-turbo V8 the company has been working on.

It'll be fast, expensive and rare. Say no more.

Aston Martin 7:00pm (Wednesday March 4)

Aston Martin will be fashionably late with its Geneva reveal, but what exactly it will be is not known yet.

Toyota TBA

The all-new compact SUV based on the Toyota Yaris will make its debut and will probably outsell every other vehicle revealed at the motor show formerly known as Geneva, combined.

Alfa Romeo TBA

The brand has already revealed the Giulia GTA, a 3.6 second, 402kW beast of an Italian sports sedan.

Fiat TBA

The new Fiat 500e electric vehicle will make its debut, with details of its range and battery pack to be confirmed after images of the new bambino were leaked.
