The Haval H2 small SUV range has been pared back for 2020, deleting the entry-level City grade and adding more equipment to the remaining Premium and Lux variants, which remain unchanged in price.
The price of entry for the Haval H2 range therefore now starts at $22,990 drive-away, which is a $3000 increase on before, for the mid-line Premium, while the flagship is priced at $25,990 drive-away.
Cosmetically, the MY20 Haval H2 range sports redesigned front and rear ends, while the flagship Lux gains LED headlights and a sunroof for the 2020 model year.
Under the bonnet, the Premium and Lux versions of the Haval H2 are powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol four-cylinder that makes 110kW of power and 210Nm of torque, driving the front wheels via a six-speed automatic.
The new entry Premium grades gets as standard: 18-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, front and rear foglights, keyless entry and start, an 8.0-inch touch-screen multimedia system and a reversing camera.
The Lux’s additional outlay gains heated front seats, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control and leather upholstery.
The H2 range is backed by a seven-year/100,000km warranty and five years of roadside assistance.
The updated models are due to arrive in Australian showrooms early 2021.
