Kia Australia has released details for a new special edition of its popular performance hero: the Kia Stinger Night Sky Edition.
Based on the GT-spec Stinger fitted with a twin-turbocharged V6 engine, the Night Sky Edition arrives in Australia this month available in three suitably nocturnal hues – Micro Blue, Deep Chroma Blue and Aurora Black Pearl.
Pricing is set at $63,500 (plus on-road costs) – a $710 jump on the existing GT.
Along with the special paintwork, the premium gets buyers the same 272kW/510Nm 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6. But in Night Sky Special application, a bi-modal exhaust system is fitted standard; it is usually a $2660 investment (plus fitment costs).
Inside, the interior is furnished in a light grey Nappa leather trim, contrasting with the exterior.
Standard equipment carries over, meaning three-mode adaptive suspension, 19-inch wheels, heated and cooled front seats, Brembo brakes, limited-slip differential, head-up display, keyless entry, push-button start, dual-zone climate control and wireless smartphone charger.
Infotainment is controlled via an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sat-nav and digital radio.
The Night Sky Edition follows in the wheel tracks of the Stinger GT Carbon Edition introduced in Australia in 2019. It goes on sale this month.
