2020 Kia Stinger pricing and specs revealed

Korean performance liftback gets fresh colour option and minor price changes

Price updates and extra equipment headline the refreshed 2020 Kia Stinger range.

The Korean car-maker has also streamlined the popular performance liftback range, doing away with mid-spec 200Si and 330Si variants and leaving only entry-level S and top-spec GT Line and GT variants on offer.

Updated models are already on sale in Australia, now with the option of a new exterior colour — bright Sunset Orange — which is already an option for the brand’s smaller Cerato sedan and hatchback.

Pricing for the 2020 Kia Stinger range has increased slightly with 330S and GT variants now costing an extra $200 and $300 respectively, bringing the 330S to $50,190 (plus on-road costs) and flagship GT to $60,790 (plus ORCs).

Additions to the range-topping GT Line and GT variants include a heated steering wheel as well as an additional layer of NVH insulation in the roof lining.

The 220S Stinger still opens the range as the base-spec option, priced from $47,190 before on-road costs and featuring the smaller 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, while the more powerful 3.3-litre turbo V6 is reserved for 330S and GT variants.

Active safety features standard on every Stinger includes autonomous emergency braking (AEB), lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, reverse camera and rear parking sensors, while base models also get 18-inch alloy wheels, a 7.0-inch infotainment unit with smartphone mirroring and launch control.

Top-spec Stinger GT variants add adaptive dampers, Nappa leather seats, a larger 8.0-inch infotainment unit, wireless phone charging, heated and cooled front seating, interior mood lighting, a 15-speaker audio system and an interface that includes vehicle information such as oil temperature, a torque and boost gauge, lap timer and a G-force meter.

How much does the 2020 Kia Stinger cost?
200S -- $47,190
330S -- $50,190
GT Line -- $56,290
GT -- $60,790
* Prices exclude on-road costs
