A new image of the incoming Porsche Taycan's dashboard has been released, revealing the pure-electric sports sedan will have a cabin heavily inspired by the latest Porsche 911.
Posted overnight, the image of the Taycan's interior shows that from behind the wheel the plug-in Porsche will have a view ahead almost identical to the current 992-series sports car.
Featuring a fully digital instrument cluster, Porsche says the Taycan will be the first car ever to have an infotainment system that integrates Apple Music, allowing occupants to have access to over 50 million songs on the move.

We already know the production Taycan, set to be fully revealed on September 4 (12:30am AEST on Thursday, September 5 in Australia), will come with all-wheel drive courtesy of twin-electric motors that should produce more than 450kW.
That, as Porsche has already proven, is enough for hypercar-troubling performance including a 0-200km/h sprint of less than 10 seconds.

Due in Australian showrooms from late 2020, Porsche's first EV will eventually be available in multiple variants, the cheapest rear-wheel drive version of which is expected to undercut both the 911 and Panamera at less than $200,000.
