2023 Japan Mobility Show highlights

Japanese giants flex their EV and sports car muscles at Tokyo’s first international motor show since 2019

After a four-year hiatus the 2023 Japan Mobility Show heralded the return of the Tokyo motor show last week, albeit with a new name for a new era.

The local car-makers celebrated with a cornucopia of concepts offering a preview of what their future models will be and look like.

Unsurprisingly, electrification featured heavily, but so did the joy of driving with Toyota, Mazda, Nissan and Honda all revealing dedicated sports cars. Here are our highlights from the show.
