The 2024 Alfa Romeo Giulia Edizione Carbonio and 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Edizione Carbonio have been announced for the Australian market, amping up the Italian sedan and SUV duo’s sportiness with the addition of new carbon-fibre body kit.
Announcing it will sell just 50 – 33 Giulias, 17 Stelvios – Edizione Carbonios, Alfa Romeo says the new special editions represent a saving of $7400 on the Giulia and $3400 on the Stelvio, but that’s only if the car you’re comparing it to has premium paint and the optional panoramic roof ($2700) fitted.
Pricing for the Giulia Edizione Carbonio starts from $79,150 plus on-roads, while the Stelvio Edizione Carbonio costs $87,150.
Based on Veloce trim level, the new specials are available in Alfa Red, Alfa White or Vulcano Black and come with carbon-fibre mirror caps, a red engine start button, a red key cover, chrome front and rear Alfa Romeo badges and black ‘Giulia’ or ‘Stelvio’ badging.
On the Giulia, in addition to the above, you get illuminated carbon-fibre door sills and a carbon-fibre boot lid spoiler, while the Stelvio gets puddle lamps.
Like the standard Veloce models, both come with matrix LED headlamps, a large 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, limited-slip rear differential, 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, Brembo brakes and large aluminium paddle shifters.
Adaptive cruise, blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert and lane keep assist headline the driver aids.
Both models come with the turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine (206kW/400Nm) and an eight-speed automatic transmission. While the Giulia is rear-wheel drive, the Stelvio comes with Alfa’s Q54 all-wheel drive system.
Both Edizione Carbonios are available to order now.
