Audi Australia has announced a widespread safety upgrade for a major portion of its incoming 2024 model range, specifically the Audi A1, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, Q2, Q3, and Q5.
Adaptive cruise control is the major addition and will be standard in all variants within the above model lines if it isn’t already, or was previously reserved for select option packages.
Traffic jam assist, active lane assist and Audi pre sense safety systems are meantime being added to all A1, A3, A4, Q2, Q3, and Q5 variants, while higher-end models like the S3 and facelifted A6 and A7 duo will score lesser features like new paint finishes and updated USB ports.
A full breakdown of the new equipment can be found below, however, pricing for most 2024 models is yet to be communicated.
“These equipment changes will be seen on incoming MY24 vehicles in a phased approach; due to start arriving from September and in the months following, dependant on specific model variants and their expected arrival dates,” Audi Australia said in a statement.
