General Motors Speciality Vehicles (GMSV) has released a comprehensive new range of genuine accessories for it facelifted Silverado pick-up truck, ranging from exterior design touches through to enhanced load-lugging and off-road capabilities.
The new range also includes some packs for both the LTZ Premium and ZR2, each comprising certain accessories aimed at the differing intent of the two variants.
For the ZR2, the Terrain Pack ($4192) adds a soft tonneau cover, sports bar, weather shields, rocker protectors and black Chevrolet tailgate lettering.
The LTZ Premium’s $3032 Black Pack meantime comprises black 20-inch alloy wheels, black Chevrolet tailgate lettering, black lettering kit, black front bow tie badge, black Z71 emblems and weather shields.
A full list of the variant-specific accessories can be found below, all of which are covered by either a 24-month/50,000km or the remaining balance of the vehicle warranty – whichever is greater – when installed by an authorised GMSV dealership.
“We know that so many of our customers personalise their Silverado, and the launch of these dealer-fitted accessory packs will give them even more choice, while at the same time simplifying the process,” GM Australia and New Zealand managing director Jess Bala said.
“Through choosing an individual accessory or taking advantage of an accessory pack, you can add style and real substance, and tailor your Silverado to your lifestyle.”
GMSV has delivered 1989 Silverado 1500s so far this year ending October, making it the second-best-selling full-sized pick-up in the segment behind the ever-dominant RAM 1500.
