The upcoming 2024 Kia EV3 has been leaked more than a week before the all-new small electric SUV’s global reveal, with official images and key metrics of the top-shelf GT-Line flagship being published by CarWale.
Shown in full production trim both inside and out, this burnt-orange Kia EV3 GT-Line looks almost identical to the silver-green concept vehicle shown last year, save for some finer headlight details and front bumper treatment.
A few other alterations have been made around the body – primarily the parabolic wing mirrors, tail-lights and wheels – but the changes are a bit more apparent within the cabin where there’s a black and grey, leather and plastic ensemble in place of the concept’s light and airy fabric.
CarWale claims the EV3 will measure 4.3m long, making it almost the same size as the current Kia Seltos, however, its dedicated EV design and construction should liberate heaps more interior space.
From the leaked images we can see the top-flight EV3 will come with Kia’s now-common panoramic dual-screen cockpit set-up, a chunky three-spoke steering wheel, EV9-style dashboard buttons, a floating centre console, ambient lighting and leather upholstery.
A 360-degree surround-view camera, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charger, panoramic sunroof and auto-dimming rear-view mirror are also reportedly included as standard, as per other Kia GT-Line variants.
The EV3’s official debut has been set for May 23 and it will likely be one of the most keenly watched reveals of the year, given the model is expected to rewrite the EV pricing rulebook for the Korean brand and become one of its best-selling electric models alongside the bigger, upcoming Kia EV5.
