The 2024 LDV Deliver 7 has arrived on Aussie soil priced from $44,726 drive-away, with two variants being offered from launch: SWB and LWB.
Both variants share the same turbo-diesel powertrain and standard equipment list, meaning the only differences between them are their wheelbases (go figure) and the resulting cargo capacities.
The pointy starting price predictably applies to the SWB which offers up to 6.3 cubic metres of cargo volume and a maximum payload of 1295kg, compared to the LWB’s ($46,832 d/a) respective 7.2m3 and 1230kg figures.
Both versions utilise a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine (123kW/390Nm) for propulsion with a nine-speed automatic transmission sending power exclusively to the front wheels.
The combined fuel consumption claim for each is 7.7L/100km (NEDC) respectively, which extrapolates out to a theoretical fuel range of more than 1000km thanks to an 80-litre tank.
Standard equipment highlights include dusk-sensing LED headlights, barn rear doors, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, keyless entry and start, adaptive cruise control with stop and go and all the usual active safety features expected of a modern van.
The Deliver 7 is covered by a seven-year/200,000km warranty and comes with five years roadside assistance, with service intervals pegged at 20,000km/12 months following the initial 5000km service.
Naturally aimed at tradies and courier drivers, LDV Australia is offering the Deliver 7 to ABN holders from $42,490 drive-away in SWB form and $44,490 in LWB guise whereas private buyers will have to pay full price.
