2025 Alfa Romeo line-up gets Tributo Italiano specials

Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio get ultra-exclusive special edition that commemorates all three’s Italian heritage

Stellantis Australia has rolled out a new line-up of Tributo Italiano Special Series vehicles to celebrate Alfa Romeo’s rich heritage, with each model capped at an ultra-low number of available units.

The series includes the 2025 Alfa Romeo Tonale (20 units), Stelvio (26 units) and Giulia (14 units), all of which will arrive before mid-year.

Pricing for the new limited-run of Alfas kicks off at $79,000 plus on-roads for the Tonale while the Giulia starts from $80,450, rising to $88,450 for the Stelvio.

At that money, the special Tonale is only $500 more than the Plug-in Hybrid Q4 it’s based on, whereas the Tributo Italiano versions of the Giulia and Stelvio cost $4000 more than the respective Veloce versions.

Choose the special edition and Alfa Romeo offers you the choice of three colours: Green, white or red (the Italian flag), with each shade paired with a black roof and sunroof.

The standard colour is Alfa White, but Alfa Red is $1990 option, while Montreal Green costs $2500 on the Tonale and $3095 for the Stelvio and Giulia.

The special edition makeover sees small Italian tricolore badges appear on the mirror caps and the addition of large red Brembo calipers.

Both SUVs gain a body-coloured body kit, while the Tonale rides on 20-inch alloy wheels and the Stelvio on larger 21s. The Giulia, meanwhile, sits on 19s.

Within, all specials come with black leather seats, red stitching and Tributo Italiano front headrests.

The Giulia and Stelvio come with a 206kW/400NM turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine combined with an eight-speed automatic, driving the rear wheels of the former and all four on the latter.

The Tonale Tributo Italiano meantime comes with a 208kW 1.3-litre plug-in hybrid system that drives all four wheels through a six-speed automatic, with the 90kW e-motor supported by a 15.5kWh lithium-ion battery.
