2025 BMW M3 CS Touring debuts at Bathurst

First-ever CS wagon is a 405kW ripsnorter good for 300km/h

The 2025 BMW M3 CS Touring has been revealed at the Bathurst 12 Hour, with just 55 examples of the high-performance wagon set to be offered in Australia, all priced from $253,900 plus on-road costs.

That asking price is a heady $70,400 more than the standard M3 Competition Touring, though buyers will be getting a fair bit more in exchange for the extra cash.

Following the same recipe as the M3 CS sedan and related M4 CS coupe, the M3 CS Touring packs 405kW/650Nm (+15kW) and blends it with a more aggressive chassis, lightened body and some unique interior appointments.

Zero-100km/h is dispatched in a claimed 3.5 seconds, 0-200km/h takes 11.7 seconds, and the top speed is an even 300km/h, however a swathe of carbon bits, forged wheels, strut brace and M Carbon brakes provide sharper dynamics to match the extra go.

An eight-speed automatic remains the default transmission as per the Competition, however the CS’ adaptive suspension and electronic power steering have both been retuned for sharper response, along with more aggressive settings for the stability control and M Dynamic drive mode.

“The world premiere of a new BMW model is significant for any market and the fact we have been selected for the launch of the M3 CS Touring is an honour while highlighting the importance of Australia in the global context,” BMW Group Australia CEO Wolfgang Buechel said.

“Record-breaking sales results for BMW M again show that Australians are true appreciators of cars with emotion and performance.”

While the CS has now made its global debut, the first Australian customer cars won’t be handed over until mid-year.
