2025 Chery Tiggo 4 Pro pricing and features announced

Chinese brand’s new small SUV promises more power and equipment than its key rivals and promises to be “the best value in Australia”

Local pricing and specifications have been confirmed for the 2025 Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, with Chery claiming its new model is “hands down the best value SUV in Australia”.

Set to start at a razor-sharp $23,990 drive-away, the Tiggo 4 Pro is the latest entrant into Chery’s rapidly expanding Australian line-up and is a direct rival for the MG ZS, GWM Haval Jolion, Mazda CX-3 and Mitsubishi ASX.

Pricing is a key factor in this segment and the Tiggo 4 Pro undercuts nearly all of its rivals for outright value. Only the soon-to-updated MG ZS Excite is cheaper due to a nationwide drive-away price of $21,990.

But the 2025 Chery Tiggo 4 Pro offers greater value, says Chery, thanks to its more powerful engine and a longer list of standard equipment.

“I think this car is hands down going to be the best value SUV in Australia. No question about it,” said Chery Australia’s chief operating officer, Lucas Harris.

“The fit and finish and amount of spec that is in the car, and the price we’re going to offer it at, is going to be very hard to beat.”

Aussie buyers have two variants of the Tiggo 4 Pro to choose from: the $23,990 Urban or the $26,990 Ultimate, with the latter adding a host of additional equipment for a $3000 premium.

Both versions are powered by Chery’s 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with 108kW and 210Nm and send their power to the front wheels only through a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Those outputs mean the Tiggo 4 Pro is considerably more powerful than the non-turbo MG ZS Excite which makes 84kW and 150Nm.

Outside, the Tiggo 4 Pro features LED headlights and rolls on either 17-inch (Urban) or 18-inch (Ultimate) alloy wheels. Ultimate versions also score chrome trim for the side window surround.

The cabin includes Chery’s widescreen digital display which combines a 10.25-inch central touchscreen with a 10.25-inch driver display and there’s also wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.

As well as bigger alloy wheels, Ultimate versions add a power sunroof, seats trimmed in artificial leather, power driver’s seat, a 6-speaker Sony sound system (versus 4 speakers in the Urban), heated front seats, automatic headlights, and power-folding mirrors.

The five-seat Tiggo 4 Pro measures 4351mm long and rolls on a 2610mm wheelbase but despite those compact dimensions, there is a decent amount of interior room for four adults. Boot space is 380L, which is on-par with a Volkswagen Golf, and there’s a space-saver spare wheel. Rear passengers also score dedicated air vents and a USB-A outlet.

There’s no official ANCAP safety rating as yet for the Tiggo 4 Pro, but Chery is confident of a five star result given seven airbags and a long list of advanced active safety systems are included as standard.

Those safety systems include autonomous emergency braking (AEB), lane-departure warning and prevention, blind-spot detection, rear-cross traffic alert and adaptive cruise control, just to name a few.

Like all new Chery models, the Tiggo 4 Pro is covered by a seven-year/unlimited km warranty. Seven years of roadside assistance and seven years of capped price servicing are also included.
