Aspiring ute challenger JAC Motors has expanded its T9 portfolio with the addition of an entry-level cab-chassis variant, as well as two high-end versions aimed primarily at the novated lease market.

Starting at the bottom of the range, the JAC T9 Oasis cab-chassis is predictably aimed at tradespeople with an 1165kg payload (excluding the tray) and the obvious customisation and specialisation options.
It shares all the same headline gear as the ute version, meaning buyers get a 10.4-inch infotainment system, leather-accented seats, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging pad, smartphone mirroring, LED exterior lighting, climate control, a reversing camera, auto-wipers, and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Those wanting cloth upholstery, steel wheels and generally fewer frills will have to wait a couple more months until the TradePro cab-chassis comes to market in early 2026.
As for the Osprey and Osprey X, these two ‘lifestyle’ variants were “strategically engineered with sub-1000kg payloads, making them eligible for Australia's growing novated lease and salary packaging market”.
Compared to the former halo Haven grade, the Osprey adds comfort-tuned suspension (980kg payload), a powered sunroof, heated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and privacy glass, while the Osprey X gets a black exterior trim treatment (wheels, badging, grille, and window surrounds).

All JAC T9s are powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine mustering 125kW/410Nm, an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, part-time 4x4 system, and a 3200kg braked towing capacity.
Pricing for the base TradePro will be announced closer to its local introduction.
