2025 Jeep Gladiator range down to just one variant

Rock-crushing Rubicon stands tall with more gear and a lower price

The updated 2025 Jeep Gladiator is finally arriving in Australian showrooms and, following the lead of its Wrangler SUV sibling, can now only be had in flagship Rubicon guise.

Pricing for the new model starts and ends at $82,990 plus on-road costs, marking a $4740 increase in entry price compared with the MY24 line-up since there’s no more Night Eagle, but simultaneously a $4260 discount for the Rubicon.

As detailed back when the new model debuted in 2023, the updated Gladiator dons a new front grille, wheels and body colour fender flares and comes with a heap of extra equipment and safety gear: Nappa leather upholstery, 12-way powered front seats, a 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless smartphone projection, side curtain airbags, rear seat reminder and automatic high beam.

Other enhancements include a new skid plate, selectable tyre fill alert, lockable under-seat storage, trail rail system, auxiliary switch bank, 240-Amp alternator, a Bluetooth speaker and spray-in bedliner.

No changes have been made to the ancient 3.6-litre ‘Pentastar’ V6 petrol engine (209kW/347Nm) under the bonnet, nor the eight-speed automatic transmission it drives all four wheels through.

Perhaps most critically for this vehicle, however, is the fact all the existing Rubicon off-road goodies – electronic front sway-bar disconnect, 77:1 crawl ratio, Rock-Trac 4x4 system, 32-inch tyres, rock sliders etc – have all been retained.

Like the MY25 Wrangler, two new hues (Mojito, ’41) have been added to the colour palette, joining the familiar Bright White, Black, Firecracker Red, Hydro Blue, Granite Crystal and Anvil.

How much does the 2025 Jeep Gladiator cost?
