2025 Lamborghini Temerario rendered

All-new baby bull will be reckless by name, nature and design

The 2025 Lamborghini Temerario is inching closer to its global debut and has just been unofficially rendered by independent graphic artists as excitement builds and more information comes to light.

Imagined in a classic-Lamborghini lurid colourway, these fresh digital images produced by Kolesa are based around spy pictures published in May showing Lamborghini’s new plug-in hybrid supercar testing in its production-spec bodywork, albeit wrapped in detail-blurring camouflage.

As reported previously, it’s clear the Temerario will draw at least some inspiration from the bigger Revuelto hypercar while still forging its own path as a different entity both within the Lamborghini portfolio and wider exotic performance car scene.

The Temerario – Spanish for reckless – will feature a lower and shorter nose than its V12 sibling with squatter overall dimensions and proportions, unique lighting signatures, intakes and key body lines, most of which are softer than on the Revuelto.

At the rear-end, we find a McLaren-like upper level containing the simple LED tail-lights and hexagonal exhaust while the rear apron is almost all diffuser or cooling ducts.

Sandwiched in behind the cabin is an all-new twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain good for more than 662kW/950Nm, the internal combustion element of which can rev out to a screaming 10,000rpm.

Strategic timing of the turbochargers’ contribution means maximum torque isn’t delivered until 4000rpm – the three electric motors do the lion’s share down low – and hangs around until 7000rpm before maximum power is attained at a Porsche-scaring 9000rpm.

Acceleration from 0-100km/h should take less than three seconds flat while 0-200 ought to be up in less than 7.5sec based on the teased outputs and the well-established capabilities of the Ferrari 296 GTB – the Temerario’s chief competition.

Expect a top-speed north of 322km/h (200mph) and an asking price well clear of $500,000 plus on-roads.
