The 2025 Lamborghini Temerario will make its long-awaited global debut in California on August 16.
The news was buried in the Italian performance car brand’s first-half 2024 financial report, confirming the highly-anticipated Lamborghini Huracan replacement will be revealed for the first time during Monterey Car Week next month.
“Another milestone will soon be reached with the unveiling of the successor to the Huracán on August 16 at Monterey Car Week: the same venue that last year saw the debut of the Lanzador concept car, a preview of the first full-electric model,” said Lamborghini in a report detailing its record sales so far this year.
“This new HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) super sports car will mark the completion of the hybridization process of the Lamborghini range, featuring an all-new twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a hybrid system for best-in-class performance and driving experience.”
In a constant stream of news around the all-new model recently, Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann revealed the Temerario will produce mega 662kW/950Nm-plus outputs via LinkedIn last month, following a sighting of a disguised prototype in May.
In the same month, the raging bull brand confirmed a 10,000rpm redline and a 4000-7000rpm peak torque band for the Huracan successor, and just yesterday we shared an unofficial render of the upcoming supercar based on those spy images,
Lamborghini posted record sales, revenues and operating income between January and June, making it the company’s most successful first half of a year ever with 5558 deliveries – up 4.1 per cent over H1 2023.
The V8 hybrid Temerario will directly replace the Huracan when production of the 11-year old ‘junior’ supercar ends in December, while the Aventador-replacing V12 hybrid Revuelto is now sold out until late 2026 and the battery-electric Lanzador will be released in 2028.
“The order bank remains solid, with the Revuelto projecting a wait of more than two years,” said Lambo in its H1 earnings report.
“For the Huracan, orders cover the entire production run until the expected line closure in December.
“The Urus SE, unveiled at the end of April at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, has also been met with a widespread positive response from customers, with orders covering around one-year’s production.”
