The 2025 Lotus Emeya ‘hyper-GT’ has been priced from $189,990 plus on-road costs as the first dealer demonstrator models arrive on Aussie soil some six months ahead of schedule.
Lotus has confirmed production of the Australian-spec vehicles has been brought forward and that the local order book for the three-tiered line-up is now open ahead of first customer cars arriving before the end of the year.
The Chinese-sourced Porsche Taycan rival’s range opens with a model simply known as Emeya, rising to $209,990 for the mid-range Emeya S and topping out at $259,990 for the flagship Emeya R (all plus ORCs).

The top-tier Emeya R churns out 675kW/985Nm for a claimed sprint time of just 2.8sec and a 255km/h v-max, achieved with the help of a two-speed transmission.

A 22kW AC wallbox will recharge a fully depleted battery to 100 per cent in a claimed 5.5 hours.
All models ride on dual-chamber air suspension with adaptive dampers.
Specification highlights on the flagship R include an augmented reality head-up display, 21-inch wheels, sustainably sourced Alcantara, Nappa leather and Ultrafabrics PU, recycled fashion industry materials, integrated door handles and a widescreen infotainment interface.
