Lotus Australia has announced the pricing and specification details of its 2025 Emira line-up, with the mid-engine sports car gaining more performance and an extra variant.
Available to order later this month, the 2025 Lotus Emira line-up will comprise the Turbo, Turbo SE and V6 grades in place of the initial First Edition variants which will soon be shown the door.
Pricing for the Turbo and Turbo SE starts from $199,990 and $209,990 plus on-road costs respectively while the V6 will go on sale sometime next year.
As before, the base Turbo features a Mercedes-AMG-sourced 268kW/430Nm turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission which it uses to drive the rear wheels.
The new Turbo SE packs the same powertrain, albeit with outputs ramped up to 298kW/480Nm, and scores a series of taste enhancements to better match its increased performance (0-100km/h in 4.0s): sports suspension, cross-drilled two-piece brake discs, launch control, red braked calipers and a black Alcantara headlining.
Finally, the V6 will continue with its familiar 298kW/420Nm supercharged 3.5-litre powerplant and the choice of either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
Choose the V6 and you bag the same braking package as the Turbo SE, the softer ‘Touring’ suspension set-up and a proper limited-slip rear differential (manual only).
“We are thrilled to announce the addition of new variants to the award winning Emira, one of the most successful Lotus models to date,” Lotus Asia Pacific president and CEO Dan Balmer said.
“In 2025, the Emira range will extend to meet wider customer needs while retaining the brand’s DNA and driving dynamics Lotus is renowned for.”
