The updated 2025 Mahindra XUV700 has arrived on Australian soil priced from $39,990 drive-away, marking a $3000 jump in the medium SUV’s entry price.
As before, two grades are being offered – AX7 and AX7L – with an unchanged 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a six-speed automatic transmission sending drive to the front wheels.
Mahindra says the headline act of the updated XUV700 is its now black interior and a reasonable upgrade on the technology front, one that adds wireless smartphone mirroring, driver profile-linked powered wing mirrors and ventilated front seats, albeit only to the flagship.
Standard inclusions on the base AX7 include but are not limited to dual 10.25-inch displays, a six-speaker sound system, panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, keyless start, powered driver’s seat and automatic wipers.
The now $42,990 (+$3000) AX7L meantime ups the ante with a 360-degree camera, 12-speaker sound system, telescopic steering wheel, the new tech features outlined above, stop-and-go function for the radar cruise control, illuminated vanity mirrors and a few other goodies.
Factory colours comprise Base Everest White, Midnight Black, Dazzling Silver and Red Rage, the latter three all available for $495.
All XUV700s are covered by a seven-year/150,000km warranty and are backed by seven years’ roadside assistance.
