2025 Mini JCW Electric and Aceman JCW priced

Hot JCW versions of Mini’s electric hatch and Aceman SUV pricing locked in ahead of their early 2025 arrival

Mini Australia has released the full pricing and specification details of its new Cooper and Aceman John Cooper Works (JCW) performance cars ahead of both models’ debut in Australia dealers early next year.

Marking the first time the high-performance JCW treatment has been applied to a Mini EV, the 2025 Mini JCW Electric will be priced from $63,990 plus on-road costs – signalling a price premium over the combustion powered JCW hatch of just $3000.

The 2025 Mini JCW Aceman, meantime, starts from $65,900, representing a $5000 step up from the existing Aceman SE Flavoured.

Whichever you choose, both come with a single-motor, front-drive powertrain outputting a healthy 190kW/350Nm, enough to launch the hatch from 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds and the Aceman in 6.4s.

Both models will top out at 200km/h.

An extra 20kW is available temporarily via the boost paddle on the steering wheel for rapid overtakes but can only be accessed when ‘go-kart’ mode is activated.

Both JCW EVs rely on a 54.2kWh battery for sustenance, the unit providing up to 371km of WLTP range for the hatch and 355km for the Aceman.

Marking the hero models apart from their lesser stablemates are the usual JCW hallmarks like chequered logos, a high-gloss octagonal front grille, C-pillar aero blades, dedicated JCW LED daytime running lamps, black side skirts and a rear spoiler, plus red vertical reflectors and a black rear diffuser.

The hatch rides on two-tone black and white 18-inch alloy wheels while the Aceman gets red and black 19s, each wrapped in performance tyres, hiding a big brake package and suspended by springs and dampers.

Standard equipment highlights include a black and red knitted dash covering, ambient lighting, a panoramic roof, heated and cool sport seats, a 9.4-inch infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, sat-nav and a 10-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system.

Automatic parking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, steering assist and a 360-degree camera meantime headline the driver assists.

First deliveries of the 2025 Mini JCW Electric and the 2025 Mini JCW Aceman are set to commence in Q1 of next year.
