2025 Porsche 911 range expands with new Carrera 4S

German marque adds more all-wheel-drive variants to 911 992.2 series range

Porsche’s iconic 911 sports car family just gained three new members, expanding its all-wheel-drive offerings – now six in total – with the new 992.2-series Carrera 4S Coupe, Carrera 4S Cabriolet, and Targa 4S.

Customers can now place their order for any of the upgraded trio, which are due Down Under in the final quarter of 2025, and will come with more power, tech and equipment.

Pricing for the latest 992.2-series 911 Carrera 4S range will kick off from $362,300 plus on-road costs (ORCs) for the Carrera 4S Coupe, while the drop-top Cabriolet starts at $385,200 plus ORCs, and the Targa 4S from $389,400 plus ORCs.

Wedged between the standard 911 Carrera and more aggressive (and powerful) 911 Carrera GTS, the Carrera 4S range shares upgraded 3.0-litre twin-turbo six-cylinder boxer engines, mated exclusively to an eight-speed PDK auto driving all four wheels.

But a 22kW power bump is partly thanks to an ‘optimised intercooler system’ carried over from the 911 Turbo, which now sees all 4S variants pump out 353kW.

With the Sport Chrono package fitted, the AWD Carrera 4S Coupe is claimed to sprint from zero to 100km/h in just 3.3 seconds. Top speed is said to max out at 308km/h.

Beyond the power bump, Porsche has added to the standard features list with new 20- and 21-inch staggered Carrera S wheels, Matrix LED headlights, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, red GTS-spec brake calipers, a sports exhaust system, and rear-wheel steering for the Targa 4S.

A rear seat system can be fitted to the Coupe at no extra cost, but it comes standard as a two-seater.

Inside, there’s wireless phone charging, a full leather package as standard, 14-way electric-adjust sports seats with memory, a Bose audio system, 3D surround-view camera, and digital radio, among other features.

Other standard gear includes blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, park assist, lane assist, electric folding mirrors, windscreen tint (for the top section) and a Light Design Package.

A host of interior and exterior colour options are available for proper customisation, while the Targa 4S can be had with black, blue, red or brown roof module options.
