The most powerful Rolls-Royce in history has been revealed, without a V12 engine.
Having made its global debut overnight, the 2025 Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge is motivated by a dual-motor battery-electric powertrain outputting 485kW/1075Nm – some 55kW/175Nm more than the standard Spectre.
Coupled with a more aggressive chassis – heavier steering, enhanced roll stabilisation, new dampers – and launch control, the first-ever electric Rolls Black Badge will launch from 0-97km/h in 4.1 seconds.
That also makes it the quickest Roller to date, though there’s no mention of an elevated speed limiter over the standard Spectre’s 250km/h v-max.
Appointments unique to the Black Badge include 23-inch forged wheels, darkened exterior trim, an illuminated grille backplate, illuminated Black Badge treadplates, Infinity drive mode and emblems, ‘technical fibre’ interior accents and the previously detailed enhanced chassis systems.
“Black Badge Spectre is one of the clearest statements of power and purpose we have ever made,” Rolls-Royce CEO Chris Brownridge said.
“It has been created in the image of our boldest and most audacious clients, with meticulous attention to detail.”
For any loaded readers hoping to snag themselves a Spectre Black Badge, the brand is yet to announced allocations or pricing for its new hero coupe, but we do know the project was launched at the behest of a small but influential clan of clients wanting “the earliest possible access” to the ultimate luxury coupe.
With the standard Spectre starting from $770,000 plus on-road costs, odds are the Black Badge would be approaching the million-dollar mark by the time its bespoke detailing is factored in on top of the extra firepower and upgraded underpinnings.
