The special edition 2026 Volkswagen Polo CityLife will arrive Down Under this November, priced from just under $33k before on-road costs and sporting more standard equipment for a $2000 premium.
Volkswagen Australia has detailed the special edition Polo CityLife, due in showrooms in November from $32,790 before on-road costs.
The special edition Polo is the third VW model to be given the ‘CityLife’ treatment, following the limited edition T-Cross CityLife and full-time T-Roc CityLife variants.
It follows upgrades to the Polo line-up detailed earlier this year, which saw entry into the German brand’s city car range increase by $1300, with the base Polo Life priced from $30,790 plus on-road costs, while the mid-spec Style ($34,790 plus ORCs) and flagship GTI ($41,790) were also hit with price rises.
The new Polo CityLife commands a $2000 premium over the Life grade on which it’s based but adds larger 16-inch Torsby alloy wheels, tinted windows, keyless entry and start, and dual-zone climate control.
Meanwhile, a CityLife badge comes stamped on the tailgate of the special edition, while additional driver aids including park assist, side assist with rear cross traffic alert and proactive occupant protection have also been added.
A special edition Ascot Grey hue – also offered on the T-Roc CityLife – is available on the Polo CityLife at no extra cost.
Power comes from the same 85kW/200Nm 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol used in the Life and Style variants, mated to a seven-speed dual clutch sending power to the front wheels.
The 2025 Volkswagen Polo CityLife is set to join showrooms this November and although it’s not strictly limited in numbers, a spokesperson for the brand confirmed it plans to deliver around 200 to 250 examples.
