2026 Cadillac VISTIQ priced for Oz

US brand’s flagship three-row electric SUV to arrive cheaper than LYRIQ SUV – sort of

The News

The 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ has been unveiled and detailed for Australia, with the new flagship EV priced from $116,000 before on-road costs, positioning the large three-row SUV below the smaller LYRIQ – at least on paper.

The Key Details

  • Cadillac VISTIQ unveiled in Melbourne as brand’s flagship SUV
  • Priced from $116,000 before on-road costs; six-seater only
  • Dual-motor AWD powertrain estimated to produce 459kW/880Nm
  • 91kWh lithium-ion battery to deliver 461km of range

The Finer Details

Unveiled ahead of the brand’s inaugural Formula 1 Grand Prix appearance in Melbourne, the six-seat VISTIQ SUV arrives as the US brand’s largest offering and will compete with family-focused electric SUVs like the Kia EV9, Hyundai IONIQ 9 and Volvo EX90.

Measuring up at 5233mm long and 2203mm wide on a 3094mm wheelbase, the VISTIQ was originally expected to arrive with the option of seven-seats as per US models, however, it will instead be available as a six-seater only, with pair of captain’s chairs in the second row.

The VISTIQ’s $116,000 (plus ORCs) price tag is another surprise, given it undercuts the smaller LYRIQ’s $122,000 starting price. Cadillac has preemptively addressed this by announcing a sharp drive-away price of $95,000 for MY25 LYRIQ models purchased by private buyers before March 31, 2026.

Estimated to produce 459kW/880Nm via a dual-motor all-wheel drive system, the fitment of a 91kWh battery pack is tipped to deliver 461km of driving range and a combined energy consumption of 22kWh/100km.

Regenerative braking with one-pedal driving accompanies several drive modes, such a Tour, Snow/Ice, Sport and MyMode.

Standard equipment includes big 22-inch alloy wheels with Brembo brakes up front, quad-zone climate control, heated and ventilated front seats with massage function, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 23-speaker AKG4 Studio sound system and a massive 33-inch LED display with Google built-in.

A full suite of safety kit includes seven airbags, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), rear cross traffic alert, forward collision warning, driver attention monitoring, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and more.
