The 2026 Ferrari Luce has been teased on the road for the first time, though there’s really very little insight to be gained from the cryptic preview.
The long-awaited snippet comes at the very end of episode two of the ‘Ferrari Luce: The Design Approach’ YouTube series and shows the electric four-door silently blasting through the countryside at night.
Being so dark and with the lights on high beam, there’s next to nothing concrete we can ascertain about the Prancing Horse’s first EV other than the fact it won’t be an all-out supercar – but we already knew that.

Instead, the Luce will be a crossover of some sort – sleeker than the Purosangue – with seating for at least four and a retro-inspired cabin that looks to blend modern technology with classic interior design cues.
We can expect to see a vast wheelbase (approx. 2959 mm) with minimal overhangs in the name of cabin accommodation and cornering dynamics, a largely enclosed front facia taking cues from the current internal combustion line-up and a slightly smaller overall stature than the Purosangue.
The 2026 Ferrari Luce is expected to make its global debut in the last week of May, powered by a formidable quad-motor powertrain good for more than 736kW, 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed north of 300km/h.
Ferrari previously confirmed a healthy amount of Australian interest in the milestone model, though there has been just as much scepticism from brand purists accustomed to waling V12s, sonorous V8s and rabid V6s.
It was certainly weird watching the linked teaser with no exhaust note…
