Updates to the 2026 INEOS Grenadier will make the rugged four-wheel drive more comfortable on road, according to the British off-road specialist.
Changes include a new variable ratio steering box, that reduces the turning circle by five per cent (thanks to extended steering stops) and lowers the ratio around the central steering position to produce a “tighter, firmer feel to deliver more precision and greater responsiveness”.
INEOS says confidence is increased in terms of high-speed straight-line driving (including lane changing), while the ratio at each end of the steering gear is unchanged meaning its off-road capability is retained.
The “performance and predictability” of heating and cooling inside the cabin are said to be improved.
Meanwhile, a tough Black Edition – based on the flagship Fieldmaster – is now available in both wagon and Quartermaster ute form, from $122,000 before on-road costs and while it won’t be limited in volume, INEOS says it will have a limited production window.
Black Edition variants feature gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich all-terrain rubber, all-black body and trim finishes, a dark exterior pack (black grille and skid plates), tinted windows, lockable spare wheel storage box, a dark interior headlining and carpet flooring.
The Road Ahead
INEOS has also added to its range of accessories, with shorter roof racks for vehicles with Safari windows now added, along with a roller tonneau cover, ute cargo bay cover, adjustable load bars, bike carriers, drawer units, light bar, snowboard, kayak and ski mounts, and more.
