The 2026 KGM Torres EVX electric SUV has been detailed just days after the Korean brand announced its new Torres Hybrid, with the EV set to arrive Down Under next month for similar money to the Musso EV ute.

The 2026 KGM Torres EVX will come powered by a front-mounted 152kW electric motor, paired with an 80.6kWh lithium-iron phosphate (LFP) battery, good for a claimed 462km of driving.
A charge from 10 to 80 per cent is tipped to take around 37 minutes on a 300kW DC fast charger, while zero to 100 per cent is said to take nine hours with an 11kW AC charging.
The 4715mm long and 1890mm wide EV is said to tip the scales at 1915kg, offer a ground clearance of 169mm, and deliver a towing capacity of 1500kg (braked).

Underneath, KGM says the electric Torres features a smart frequency damping suspension, along with extra sound-absorbing and insulating materials to reduce road noise.
Equipment levels are generous, with 18-inch alloy wheels, powered sunroof, electric tailgate, LED headlights and daytime running lights (DRLs), rain-sensing wipers, black roof rails, and tinted rear windows.
Inside, a 12.3-inch dual display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto comes standard, while dual-zone climate control, a heated leather steering wheel, heated front and rear outboard seats, ventilated front seats, eight-way powered front seats (with driver lumbar), and ambient interior lighting are also included.
Meanwhile, safety and driver-assist features include eight airbags, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), lane departure warning and lane keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning, brake assist, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera.
Black leather-appointed upholstery comes standard, while Grand White is the only no-cost paint option. Metallic options including Space Black, Iron Metal, Latte Greige and Forest Green command a $700 premium.
KGM says the Torres EVX will come covered by a seven-year/unlimited-km warranty and a 10-year/unlimited-km high-voltage battery warranty.
The 2026 KGM Torres EVX will be available in selected KGM dealerships from December 1.
