Just in case you thought the Jesko Attack wasn’t intense enough, Koenigsegg has doubled down and debuted the Sadair’s Spear; an even more track-focused, road-going hypercar named in honour of Christian von Koenigsegg’s father’s beloved racehorse.
Debuted overnight in Sweden and already sold-out, just 30 examples of the 2026 Koenigsegg Sadair’s Spear are being produced for the brand’s most elite clientele which were given a private unveiling ahead of time and the obligatory opportunity to open the cheque book.
Based on the Jesko Attack, the Sadair’s Spear recipe is resolutely straight forward: an enlarged and active rear wing, elongated rear-end, bigger front canards and louvres, reengineered bonnet vents, redesigned air intakes, an improved oil cooling system, exclusive seven-spoke carbon fibre wheels, wider and higher-performance tyres, all-new springs and dampers, upgraded carbon-ceramic brakes, a bespoke interior and racing seats.
The end results of these enhancements are 1212kW on E85 (969kW on premium unleaded), a 35kg weight reduction, more grip, more downforce, and a power-to-weight ratio exceeding 1:1, all of which combined to shave 1.1 seconds off the Jesko Attack’s lap time at Gotland Ring… during its initial shakedown.
“Sadair’s Spear represents a natural progression for Koenigsegg – an impeccable balance of raw power, refined aerodynamics, and extraordinary road presence,” Christian von Koenigsegg said.
“This car is destined to set records. Achieving such track dominance in a fully road-legal vehicle is nothing short of remarkable.”
As with the Jesko Attack, drive from the twin-turbocharged 5.0-litre V8 is shipped exclusively to the rear wheels via Koenigsegg’s ‘Light Speed Transmission’ – activated in this instance exclusively via paddle shifters.
