The 2026 Land Rover Discovery Sport lineup has been overhauled, with the entry P200 powertrain and base S trim dropped, while the mid-spec SE and range-topping HSE variants have been superseded by new Landmark and Metropolitan trims.
Following the tweaks, the new entry Landmark is available with the P250, a 184kW turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, along with a Plug-in Hybrid model that blends a 1.5-litre turbo, an 80kW e-motor and a 15-kilowatt-hour battery for a combined power output of 272kW and an EV range of up to 66km on the NEDC test cycle.
The flagship Metropolitan only comes with the P250 powertrain.
There are also new Beach Days, Road Trip and Snow Days packs that join the existing Biking Adventures and For Dogs option packs.
Choose the Discovery Sport Landmark and the mid-size SUV gains mountain-range kickplate logos and puddle lamp projections.
Standard kit includes a sliding and reclining second row of seats, a panoramic glass roof and a 3D 30-degree camera view, along with black roof rails and an electric tailgate.
Gloss dark grey 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, keyless go, 12-way electrically adjustable seats (10-way for the passenger) with memory are also thrown in, as is a Meridian sound system.
The Metropolitan trim comes with a silver front grille and front and rear bash plates, plus branded kickplates and large diamond turned 20-inch alloy wheels in gloss black.
Within, there’s 14-way electrically adjustable heated and cooled seats, matrix LED headlights, cabin air purification, head-up display, digital rear view, Ebony Windsor leather seats with grey stitching and a more powerful 650-watt 14-speaker Meridian Surround sound system.
All versions get a digital instrument cluster and an 11.4-inch curved glass infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
If you’re wondering about the new packs, the Beach Days pack adds a centre armrest cooler for food and drinks, sunshades to keep the cabin cool, plus a collapsible organiser to keep the luggage area organised after a day at the beach.
The Road Trip throws in iPad holders for rear seat occupants, cross bars and a roof box for when you need extra stowage space.
The Snow Days pack adds a ski and snowboard rack, rubber floor mats for the carpets and a set of snow chains.
