Australia has a new mid-ship performance car created just for us: the 2026 Lotus Emira Turbo Bathurst Edition. Just 15 examples of this enhanced coupe are headed our way, packing more power, torque, unique suspension, sticky tyres and extra aero.

Intended as the ultimate expression of the Emira (so far), the Bathurst Edition has been tailor-made to conquer Mount Panorama with more power and torque, three-way adjustable dampers, new wheel alignment settings, GT4-inspired aero and sticky Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres.
Outputs of the AMG-sourced turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine have been lifted from 268kW/420Nm to a bonkers – for a 2.0L – 375kW/600Nm and are still shipped to the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The new dampers, wheel alignment and stickier tyres make for more aggressive handling while the carbon splitter and rear wing aid straight line stability.
Four-piston AP Racing callipers act on two-piece ventilated rotors in all four corners.
The Bathurst Edition can be identified not only by its new aero, but also by the GT4-inspired livery and emblems on the side and rear.
The cabin is largely untouched save for a vehicle-specific build plaque.

The 2026 Lotus Emira Turbo Bathurst Edition is available now, with entry into the 2027 Lotus Bathurst track day included in the $249,990 asking price.
Lotus has confirmed one of the 15 units has already been spoken for.
