The all-electric 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLC 400 4MATIC has been priced from $112,200 plus on-road costs ahead of its October arrival.

The Finer Details
Sustaining the dual-motor powertrain is a nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery pack with a usable energy content of 94.4kWh; enough for up to 630km (WLTP) on a full charge thanks in part to a two-speed transmission.
The 360kW/800Nm outputs meantime aren’t far off AMG levels of firepower, nor is the 4.3-second 0-100km/h time.
An 800-volt architecture facilitates DC fast charging of up to 330kW – providing up to 300km in 10 minutes – while a compatible AC wallbox can charge the battery at up to 22kW.
Standard equipment on the electric GLC includes the MBUX Superscreen, ARTICO upholstery and steering wheel trim, heated front sports seats with memory, one-piece panoramic roof with adjustable opaqueness, brown open-pore birch wood trim, heat- and noise-insulating glass, 21-inch AMG alloys and rear privacy glass.
Those not wanting the tri-screen dash have the limited opportunity to opt for a $2200 cheaper Launch Edition ($110,000) which replaces the passenger display with a ‘static screen’ that’ll display customisable high-resolution wallpapers, ambient graphic themes or dynamic branding animations.
By contrast, those wanting more toys will be able to opt for a pair of option packs offering more tech as well as greater interior and/or chassis refinement.
The Road Ahead
GLC 400 4MATIC order books have already opened in preparation for the model’s October arrival.
Like all of Mercedes’ cars, the electric GLC is covered by a five-year/unlimited-kilometre factory warranty, with eight years/160,000km coverage for the high-voltage battery pack.
