The 2026 Range Rover Sport Electric has been previewed for the first time ahead of its full reveal later this year, with the British marque promising the new EV will be "more dynamic and faster than ever" when it arrives in Australia.

Uncovered and demonstrated via a series of driving challenges at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the battery-electric SUV will complete the Range Rover Sport lineup, joining existing plug-in hybrid, mild-hybrid V8, petrol and diesel offerings.
While JLR is yet to reveal technical specifications for what will be just its second EV, the electric RR Sport is tipped to deliver greater power and torque than before, backed by a new chassis calibration and bespoke sound experience to complement its electric powertrain.
Visually, it shares much of the current model's familiar styling and the brand says customers can expect the same blend of luxury, refinement and all-terrain capability – for those that dare take it off-road.

Full details of the Range Rover Sport Electric, including technical specifications, performance figures and market availability, will be announced later in 2026 as the brand continues expanding its luxury EV portfolio.
