2026 Renault Master priced ahead of launch

The new-generation 2026 Renault Master is about to arrive on Aussie soil priced from $55,990 plus on-road costs, powered by the choice of a turbo-diesel engine or a battery-electric setup.

The Finer Details
Starting with the internal combustion versions, the 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine outputs 125kW/380Nm and drives the front wheels via either a six-speed manual (base only) or nine-speed automatic transmission.
The braked towing capacity is 2000kg while the payload varies from 1811kg to 1923kg. All diesels have a GVM of 4000kg and a GCM of 6000kg.
As for the two battery-electric Master E-Techs, their singular 105kW/300Nm motor also drives the front wheels and can tow up to 2000kg, however the payloads are significantly lighter: 1084kg to 1164kg.
The 87kWh battery pack can be recharged at up to 130kW on DC power and provides a range of up to 409km on the WLTP cycle. The GVM is 3500kg and the GCM 5500kg.
Standard features on all variants include a configurable three-seat layout, a 10-inch infotainment system offering smartphone mirroring, automatic wipers and headlights, a reversing camera, rear parking sensors, overhead storage, two USB-C ports, AEB, lane-keep assist and rear barn doors that open to 270 degrees.
The automatic diesels also nab paddle shifters while the E-Techs get Google automated services.
The Road Ahead
The new Master will begin arriving in showrooms next month, however the E-Techs won’t show up until the second half of the year.
“The new-generation Renault Master is a key part of Renault Australia’s model revitalisation,” Renault Australia general manager Glen Sealey said.
“Last year Renault Australia promised six new models in the next 18 months … there is more to come.”
