The 2026 Skoda Peaq has been outed via an explainer video around the big EV’s aerodynamics, ahead of its official unveiling on June 23.

Skoda appears to have given the world an early look at its upcoming Peaq SUV after an official video detailing the EV’s aerodynamic development briefly showcased a 3D schematic of the new model, sans camo.
The “engineering miracle” is set to become the Czech brand’s largest and most expensive electric model when it arrives Down Under in late 2026 or early 2027, sitting alongside the petrol and plug-in hybrid Kodiaq as a dedicated battery-electric flagship.
While the sneak preview might have been accidental, the design itself is largely in line with expectations, imagined via this render earlier in the year.
It adopts Skoda’s latest ‘Modern Solid’ design language, first previewed by the Vision 7S concept and is underpinned by shared Volkswagen MEB architecture.

Familiar claw-shaped lighting signatures feature at either end, while a range of aerodynamic enhancements are said to include functional front air curtains, an integrated wheelarch spoiler, underbody air deflectors, an active roller blind between the cooling elements and air-optimised wheel covers.
Skoda also claims a drag coefficient of 0.249 for the Peaq, a figure achieved thanks to smooth body surfaces, flush door handles and “minimal edges”. Wind noise inside the cabin is also said to be minimal.
At the rear, Skoda says the roof spoiler, side finlets, diffuser and trailing edges of the taillights have also been fine-tuned to better manage airflow leaving the vehicle.

The Skoda Peaq will be officially unveiled later this month before entering global markets in 2027.
Australian timing is yet to be confirmed, though the recently revealed Skoda Epiq is expected to arrive locally in 2027, with the larger Peaq expected to follow not long after as the brand expands its electric vehicle portfolio Down Under.
