The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has scored a big price cut for Model Year 2027, its new $299,990 plus on-road costs sticker a substantial $36,100 lower than before. However, it will now be built to order, with customers able to choose from new colours, wheel designs and carbon-fibre design elements, as well as the Z07 Performance Package. Customer orders can be taken now, with production starting in January 2027.

Chevrolet has sharpened the price of its Corvette Z06 supercar for the 2027 Model Year, reducing the base price from $336,000 to $299,990, both prices excluding on-road costs. This is much cheaper than its main rival, the $449,100 (+ORCs) Porsche 911 GT3.
The Z06 uses a 5.5-litre naturally aspirated V8 producing 475kW at 8550rpm and 595Nm at 6300rpm, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox for a 0–100km/h claim of 3.0sec.
All vehicles will now be built to order, with customers able to pick from 10 exterior colours, including new options Pitch Grey, the pictured Admiral Blue and Roswell Green. A new wheel design is available in polished, gloss black, pearl nickel, carbon flash and carbon-fibre finishes.

The biggest-ticket option is the $50,000 Z07 Performance Package, which includes a substantial aero kit that doubles downforce, larger carbon-ceramic brakes, a unique tune for the Magnetic Ride Control adaptive dampers and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres.
All Australian Z06s are the highest-spec 3LZ level, including a 14.0-inch digital instrument display, a 12.7-inch infotainment screen and a 6.6-inch auxiliary touchscreen, which are all part of the recent interior upgrade. The update also adds wireless charging, USB-C functionality and improved ergonomics with the elimination of the central strip of buttons.
Other standard equipment includes GT2 seats with Nappa leather upholstery, a suede upper interior, carbon-fibre steering wheel detailing, a head-up display, Bose 14-speaker stereo, nose lift with memory, soft-close frunk and removable targa roof.
According to acting managing director for General Motors Australia and New Zealand, Greg Rowe, “The new Z06 combines the iconic naturally aspirated V8, genuine track capability and an impressive level of personalisation. Importantly, its sharp new price point makes the Z06 more accessible, while the exclusive build-to-order model ensures every customer can create a Corvette that is distinctly their own.”
The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is available to order now, with production at the Bowling Green Factory in Kentucky starting in January 2027.
