26th Annual Variety Bash gets underway
From Melbourne to Darwin, raising money for children charities along the wayThe 26th annual Variety Bash set off from Melbourne bound for Darwin on August 9. And carsales.com.au is part of it with CEO and founder, Greg Roebuck, one of the competitors,
Greg is piloting his own Holden Kingswood, however, in a case of mistaken identity, the car is wearing the same livery as carsales Racing's Nissan Altima supercar.
The Bash is one of Australia's best known motoring events, raising money for children who are sick, disadvantaged or have special needs.
This year's event will trek 4500km from Melbourne to Darwin via Kings Canyon in the Red Centre. Stops include Mildura, the Flinders Ranges, Coober Pedy, Kings Canyon, Alice Springs and beyond.
The 2016 event will climax with a celebratory finish in Darwin.
