A life-sized Vegemite Jar Villa is opening this weekend so pack your bags
Looking for a weekend getaway that’ll put a rose in every cheek?Australia’s favourite polarising breakfast spread, Vegemite has teamed up with online hotel booking site Booking.com to launch a custom-built, self-contained Villa which looks like a jar of Vegemite. We love a quirky weekend holiday stay here at carsales and this Vegemite Villa which happens to be four metres tall is exactly that.
The exclusive villa located in the homeland of Vegemite’s parent company, Bega Cheese in Brogo, NSW comes full of Vegemite branded furnishings, including a bed which resembles Vegemite on toast! You’ll also get to utilise Vegemite branded eye masks, slippers, socks and an alarm clock as well as jars upon jars of the yeasty stuff.
The giant jar, which can accommodate two guests at a time, took three builders, two sculptors, one scenic artist and a printing team to build. It weighs approximately 900kg which is a lot of Vegemite!
So you want to stay at the B&B with the most B vitamins going round? Well from $89 per night, The Vegemite Villa is exclusively available on Booking.com for two nights on the 6th and 7th December 2019. Bookings open on the 4th of December at 10am AEST so get in quick! And don't forget the bread!
