FCA Australia has announced a very limited number – just 20 – of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Carbonio for the Australian market.
Priced at $143,900 like the standard Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio that won Australia's Best Driver's Car for 2018, the Carbonio Edition is available in a choice of two colours (Trofeo White or Competizione Red) and features a leather/Alcantara steering wheel with carbon-fibre insert and 19-inch dark alloy wheel upgrade. Additionally, carbon-fibre trim is applied to the grille insert, the mirror shells, the illuminated front door sills and the automatic transmission shift console.
The importer claims that the extras and upgraded features deliver added value worth $8500 to the basic specification of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, which is powered by a 375kW 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6.
"The new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Carbonio Edition blends the same highly acclaimed driving dynamics, technologies, lightness and efficiency with new distinctive styling features to accentuate its dynamic performance and design," said Fulvio Antonelli, Head of the Alfa Romeo Brand in Australia.
"The Giulia Quadrifoglio Carbonio Edition brings something fresh, unique and exhilarating to the premium sports sedan market in an exciting year for the brand in Australia, spearheaded by the launch of the all-new Stelvio SUV."
