Alfa Romeo is rolling out a new Tributo Italiano trim level on the Alfa Romeo Giulia, Stelvio and Tonale that celebrates the car-maker’s Italian style and sportiness.
Slotting into Alfa’s global line-up above the Veloce grade as the new flagship trim, the Tributo Italiano will be offered in just three Italian flag-matching shades – Rossa Alfa red, Verde Montreal green and Bianco Alfa white.
On the Tonale SUV, the new trim introduces an exterior colour-matching lower body kit that includes side skirts, wider wheel-arches and front and rear bumper inserts.
It also adds a fresh set of 19-inch wheels on the Giulia, 20-inch rims on the Tonale and large 21-inch alloys on the Stelvio.
Other items include a black roof, red Brembo brake callipers and mirror caps with small Italian flags on them.
Inside, the Tributo Italiano features black leather seats with red stitching, plus new embroidered head restraints. The red stitching is repeated on the dash, centre console and door cards.
Extra carbon-fibre-style dash inserts also help differentiate it from lesser models in the range.
All Tributo Italiano models come with generous levels of standard kit including dual-zone climate control, a heated steering wheel, aluminium shift paddles, ambient lighting, heated and ventilated seats, a hands-free tailgate on the Stelvio and Tonale and a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
In Italy, the Tributo Italiano will be offered on the all-wheel drive 206kW 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 154kW 2.2-litre turbo-diesel with the Giulia and Stelvio, plus the entry rear-drive 118kW 2.2-litre turbo-diesel.
On the Tonale, the new flagship trim is combined with either the 118kW 1.5-litre turbo-petrol or the 208kW 1.3-litre turbo plug-in hybrid.
All versions come with the car-maker’s dual-stage valve active dampers and a full package of driver assist tech.
Australian details are still to be released, but the company has confirmed that the Tributo Italiano versions of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, Stelvio and Tonale will be available to order here from early next year.
