The doors of the first Mercedes-Benz Airport Express sales and service centre in the Southern Hemisphere will open at Sydney's Mascot Airport on February 6.
The centre will offer service and purchasing options for Mercedes-Benz customers and offer valet service direct to the airports domestic and international terminals.
Said Managing director of the Mercedes Car Group in Australia, Horst von Sanden: “With many luxury car owners travelling more often for business and pleasure, the time is ripe for a retail concept like Mercedes-Benz Airport Express.
“The new facility is one of several exciting new developments for the brand this year which highlight our commitment to providing first rate facilities for our customers.
“With Airport Express we aim to set a new benchmark in customer service excellence in the luxury car market," he said.
According to Mercedes-Benz, the facility will incorporate seven service bays, a purpose-design retail sales outlet and "relaxation lounge." The new centre will also showcase several new vehicles.
It is located on Sir Reginald Ansett Drive, the main thoroughfare into Sydney’s domestic airport.
Mercedes will also open a new multi-million dollar dealership on Kingsway in Melbourne next month.
The new Mercedes-Benz of Melbourne dealership is built to the marque's new international Mercedes-Benz Autohaus standards and will be the largest Mercedes-Benz dealership in the southern hemisphere.
