Ascari resorts to supercar stardom
Customer deliveries of the limited-edition KZ1 -- the car with access to its own purpose-built circuit and luxury resort -- have started. And a Top Gear top five fastest lap hasn't hurt its credibility one little bit.The supercar that promises the whole package -- including access to a dedicated circuit, a Benetton F1 car and five-star resort in Spain -- has hit the ground running.
First deliveries of the potent and handsome UK-built Ascari KZ1 started last week, just in time for it to jump into a top five berth on cult British TV car show Top Gear.
The KZ1 beat the likes of the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, Pagani Zonda, Ford GT and Koenigsegg CC to set one of the fastest lap times around the show's benchmark circuit.
