A bespoke Aston Martin DB11 V8 Shadow Edition model has been revealed, fitted with a host of special equipment to make it stand out from other $375K grand tourers.
Only 300 limited-edition models will be available globally and only with the 375kW/675Nm Mercedes-AMG V8, mated exclusively to an eight-speed automatic.
Extra equipment on the Shadow Edition includes gloss-black 20-inch directional alloy wheels, a sports steering wheel made with a mix of Alcantara and leather, polished black chrome wings and script badging, gloss black bonnet blades and black anodised ‘Shadow Edition’ sill plates.
Upon request (and for more money) the special-edition Aston Martin DB 11 can be had with gloss-black instead of body-coloured panels to match the Shadow Edition theme.
Owners are also able to customise their limited-edition DB11 with six exterior paint options, while brake calliper colour options and different interior stitching colours will also be available.
The British manufacturer’s Australian PR team has confirmed the special-edition DB11 will be made available locally, but is yet to confirm pricing and allocation.
“We have carefully selected the Shadow Edition design elements to subtly yet noticeably alter the DB11’s appearance – moving it further towards a more assertive and purposeful GT style,” said Marek Reichman, Aston Martin’s executive vice-president.
“By painstakingly packaging together key styling elements in the new Shadow Edition we have given this small group of DB11 V8-powered sports car their own visual character that clearly marks them out as new and different.”
