Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Track Performance Pack unveiled

Circuit-friendly version claimed to be 8 per cent quicker than regular Aston Martin Valkyrie

Aston Martin has confirmed its flagship Aston Martin Valkyrie will come with the option of an AMR Track Performance Pack that makes the British hypercar even quicker.

Created for wealthy owners who enjoy the odd track day, the AMR Track Performance Pack updates are best described as 'comprehensive'. That's because if you opt for them, Aston supplies a second set of body parts to manually change the aerodynamic properties of the Valkyrie.

The AMR Performance Pack also adds ultra-lightweight titanium brakes, uprated track-spec suspension and cool matte-black magnesium alloy wheels.

All combined, the British sportscar brand says a Valkyrie equipped with the AMR Performance Pack is around 8 per cent quicker than without it.

According to Aston Martin, the AMR body has not been homologated for road use meaning owners are required to convert their Valkyrie back to the standard panels before driving home from the track.

As well as being faster, choosing the AMR Performance Pack brings the option of extra body parts in three different liveries or, if you have even deeper pockets, the car-maker says you can create your own finish through its bespoke 'Q by Aston Martin' department.

To help its millionaire customer base to order their very own bespoke Valkyries, Aston Martin has posted a video on its YouTube channel that to show some of the near infinite level of personalisation possible.

These include six different colours for the seatbelts alone, and a Gold Pack that adds 24-carat gold leaf laid under the paint lacquer.

Aston Martin hasn't released pricing for either the AMR Performance Pack or any of the costs involved in personalisation. However, when each of the Valkyries is priced at an incredible $4.5 million - for those who will actually buy one of the 150 cars Aston has already sold - it remains academic.

In December Aston Martin announced the Valkyrie's 6.5-litre V12 engine generates an incredible 740kW at 10,500rpm with an 11,000rpm limit.
