Buyers and existing owners of the Aston Martin Vantage now have the option of swapping out their car's polarising 'Hunter' grille for a more traditional snout inspired by the current DB11.
The new Vane Grille Conversions can be fitted via Aston Martin Works in the UK and are claimed to have been produced following "feedback from customers in some markets".
Created to give the Vantage a "softer, more refined" traditional grille, the new option is perfect for those who thought the gaping wide Hunter grille was too aggressive.
For now, the Vane Grille is only available to UK buyers as it is not a simple swap over as the Vantage's nose needs modifying and the grille needs painting to match the body of the Aston.
It's believed that if there's enough demand the new grille will be offered to other markets, including Australia.
Last year British tuner Revenant Automotive announced it would offer a 'fix' for the Hunter grille with a new front-end inspired by the one-off Aston Martin DB10 created for the James Bond franchise.
Featuring a smaller opening instead of the standard car’s wide, gaping air-intake, the British carbon-fibre specialist says each new nosecone is hand-made for the Vantage.
