Motorclassica opens on Friday, October 21 for its seventh consecutive year, boasting an auction catalogue of over 35 cars and bikes, said to total $3.5 million.
The auction will be conduction by Theodore Bruce at the venue, the Royal Exhibition Building, on the Saturday evening. Last year's auction set a new Australian record of $3.2 million.
For this year, the auctioneer will be taking bids for a GTHO Phase III Falcon, a 1965 Porsche 911 and a 1960 Mercedes-Benz 190SL. The auction house anticipates the Falcon and the Porsche could each exceed $450,000, and the 190SL would break the existing Australian record for the model if it passes $250,000.
