Audi Australia has released the Audi Q2 Edition #2, a sportier limited-edition version of its smallest SUV launched in 2017.
Claimed to offer up to $4000 worth of additional equipment including class-leading driver assistance technology, the new models cost at least $2600 extra.
Like the rest of the Audi Q2 range, at least since the diesel option was axed last year, the Edition #2 is available in two engine variants: front-drive 110kW 35 TFSI and all-wheel drive 140kW 40 TFSI quattro.
Both models add Audi smartphone interface, MMI navigation, Audi connect technology with Wi-Fi hotspot and Google services, convenience key and side assist safety technology, plus unique 19-inch alloy wheels in monochrome colour variation.
The Audi Q2 35 TFSI Edition #2 is priced at $44,550 plus ORCs, while the 40 TFSI quattro costs $52,400 – $3000 more than the model on which it’s based.
“The Q2 Edition #2 extends our compact SUV offering to customers that love the urban charisma of the Q2 but are seeking an even sportier exterior design [and] provides even more outstanding value to further enhance the attractiveness of this popular compact SUV," said Shawn Ticehurst, Product Planning & Pricing Director at Audi Australia.
Both Edition #2 models are available with the Audi service plan package priced at $1580 for three years or $2140 for five years, plus optional Technik, Comfort and Assistance packages.
