Audi has released teaser images of the battery-powered 2023 Audi Q8 e-tron and Q8 e-tron Sportback that will be introduced next year, replacing the current Audi e-tron and e-tron Sportback.
Two pictures of the Audi Q8 e-tron duo’s silhouettes have emerged on the German prestige brand’s social media channels, with no further information.
A separate video clip shows some of the details of the SUVs’ headlights and tail-lights, which point to the Q8 e-tron being heavily updated versions of the current e-tron twins that launched in Europe in 2018 before eventually going on sale in Australia in 2020.
Audi is still to confirm whether the e-tron’s powertrain has been overhauled for greater power, efficiency and an improvement in range.
Reports suggest the teaser we’re looking at is a facelifted version of the e-tron because its all-new replacement isn’t scheduled to touch down until 2026.
Expect more teasers of the Q8 e-tron and Q8 e-tron Sportback in the coming days in the build-up to its November 9 debut.
