Aussie pricing announced for Tesla Model X

Full details revealed, with drive-away pricing for the P90D flagship topping out over $215K

Tesla's unique electric SUV, the Model X, will range in price from $122,812 for the entry-level 60D variant right up to $201,072 for the flagship P90D model.

As reported last month, the starting price for the base model is $119,000, but that figure doesn't include the luxury car tax component. Adding the LCT takes the 'cheap' Model X up to $122,812, and then individual state on-road costs and taxes lift the price again.

In New South Wales the Model X 60D will set you back $129,255 by the time it's on the road. That figure rises to $130,087 in Victoria, but Queensland is cheaper – at $125,966.

Residents of the ACT can get behind the wheel of the Model X 60D for $123,958 on the road. But in other states and territories the 'drive-away' price is higher: $128,402 in South Australia, $127,113 in the Northern Territory and $128,307 in Tasmania.

The most expensive Model X variant on the road – the P90D that will complete a 0-100km/h acceleration run in 3.4 seconds – is priced at $215,044 on the road in Western Australia.

Prices for the Model X – without the on-road costs, but including LCT – are as follows:
60D – $122,812
75D – $139,842
90D – $163,242
P90D – $201,072
